Each horse brings something unique to this work. Each horse also brings something unique to each new client. And that same horse can bring something different to the same client on different occasions - Angela Dunning, The Horse Leads the Way

Thor

Is a four-year-old, grey, Connemara. He is a typical teenager with a cheeky personality who loves to play, and he occasionally gets himself into trouble by jumping over fences into different fields. Thor would prefer to be a coloured horse so he enjoys trying to camouflage himself with mud and anything else he can find! He has a lovely temperament and loves nothing more than running round with his friends and being fussed over. Very much a baby, Thor loves his sleep, and he can often be found lying in his stable on his side, with his legs straight out in front of him, snoring loudly.

Oasis

Is a fifteen-year-old, grey, Welsh Section A, affectionately known as Ozzy. He has been there and done it all before. As the oldest herd member, he likes to think he is in charge, and despite his size, he believes he’s very important. Oasis is also very noisy and can regularly be heard exercising his vocal cords.

Reggie

Despite being the youngest member of the herd at only three-years-old, he is a very calming presence with the sweetest temperament. He has been socialised around humans from a very young age, and consequently enjoys grooming clients as much as they like grooming him. As the two youngest in the herd, Thor and Reggie love to play and get up to mischief together.

The wellbeing of the herd is paramount, and they receive the best care and support from the following professionals:
